Brand Identity
Art Direction, Branding
2026
The brief arrived as a single sentence: we want to feel timeless. Not trend-resistant, not classic — timeless. It was the kind of direction that sounds simple until you sit down to execute it, and then you realise how much work silence actually requires.
Velour Studio came to us as a fashion label with strong product but no visual language to carry it. The identity existed in fragments — a font here, a colour there, nothing that held together across touchpoints. Our job was to build the system underneath.
Colour came next. The palette was built around what the clothes were not — not seasonal, not reactive, not tied to any particular moment. Warm off-whites, deep blacks, one carefully chosen accent that could be dialled up or down depending on the context. A system designed to stay out of the way of the product while still feeling considered.
The final identity system was delivered across brand guidelines, digital templates, packaging specifications and print layouts. What the client received was not just a logo but a complete decision-making framework — a set of rules that would allow them to move consistently without needing a designer in the room every time.

Velour Studio now operates with a visual confidence that matches the quality of what they make. That was always the only goal.
